At Coireán House, we follow a traditional publishing model, offering advances and royalties while fully investing in every book we acquire. We are committed to elevating distinctive voices and bringing carefully crafted stories to readers with care.

Our editorial and production teams oversee each stage of publication, from manuscript development through design, production, and marketing. We collaborate with our authors to bring each work to its strongest form while respecting the author’s creative vision.

We are highly selective in the projects we acquire, seeking work that demonstrates originality, exceptional storytelling, and clear market potential. Authors interested in working with us should begin by submitting a query in accordance with our guidelines.

Coireán House is a traditional fiction publisher, and we are currently seeking submissions across several key genres.

We are drawn to richly detailed historical settings, engaging and character-driven cozy mysteries, immersive fantasy worlds, and romance-forward fantasy with strong emotional depth. We welcome inclusive storytelling, including LGBTQIA+ representation and narratives that incorporate mental health themes.

Genres We Do Not Publish
​
At this time, we are not seeking submissions in the following categories: poetry, short story collections, nonfiction, memoir, erotica, inspirational or Christian fiction, picture books, screenplays, or chapter books.

We welcome English-language submissions from authors outside the United States. Please indicate your location in your query.

Authors must be at least 18 years old to submit due to legal requirements.

Submission Guidelines

How to submit your query:​
 

1. Add query letter into the space provided.

2. Only completed and unpublished manuscripts will be considered (this includes works that have not been self-published). Full or partial manuscripts should be sent only upon request.

3. If Requested, please ensure your manuscript is polished and formatted according to industry standards. This includes using a readable 12-point font (such as Times New Roman), double spacing, standard 1-inch margins, and proper paragraph indentation.
